Guild museum
Recovered from the old server and its forums, these are EV’s logos, charts, ribbons, signatures, screenshots, recordings and videos. Start with three eras of guild history, then two members-only rooms: early-years history and recordings. Next come year-by-year Wayback links and galleries grouped by kind, then moments from the forums and guild videos.
2002–2007
EV’s roots reach back to an older guild in the Star Wars Galaxies pre-beta community of 2002 and on the Starsider server. After World of Warcraft launched, twelve members left to found Eternal Vigilance. They built a guild governed by its members, with elected leaders and a written charter. Its Roman ranks were hastati, principes and triarii. The charter was revised twice in 2005, and the first EV-Pedia went up in 2006.
2008–2012
The Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) portal opened on October 23, 2008. It became a division with command charts, awards and member signature banners; 51 banners are shown here. Seven screenshots survive from an April 2009 gathering inside Star Wars Galaxies. These were the busiest forum years: 2011 reached 70,754 posts. The EV 4.0 charter in 2008 and EV 5.0 in 2012 mark the ends of this era.
2012–2026
EV ran several portals, its branches for individual games. Members met in the US in 2013 and 2014, and at the EV EU Minimeet in December 2014. The guild turned ten on January 6, 2015. Its Discord server opened that September, and the forums grew quiet as conversation moved there. Star Citizen, the final portal, closed in 2022.

Open the listening roomThe Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine captured the website in 20 years, with none in 2006 or 2007, and the forums in 13 years. Each link leads to the first capture of that year. Pick a year to see the front page as it looked then.
These snapshots belong to archive.org, separate from EV’s archive. Some are incomplete, missing images or unable to load. Pages behind a login were not captured. Each link opens web.archive.org in a new tab.
7 items show versions of the EV logo, guild and TeamSpeak 3 banners, one forum signature banner and a diagram of the charter.
19 items include Roman rank medallions, guild structure and command charts, SWTOR division charts and insignia, and the Commendation, Legacy and MSM award ribbons.
33 items include 21 veteran ribbons, a Day of Defeat badge, three WMG film badges and eight portal badges for leaders and members.
51 forum signature banners include SWTOR division designs with file dates from 2008 to 2011, plus a “Let’s go.” banner; members can appear more than once.
7 screenshots show EV members meeting inside Star Wars Galaxies in April 2009.
24 logos and banners made by the guild and uploaded to the Old website between 2012 and 2019 include portal logos, EV wordmarks and emblems, grouped by upload year.
