== History ==
Throughout the ages our people the people of Karak Deler have seen our fair share of hardship, especially since Clan Steelmace became head of the council.
It all started back in the Era of Asdos Merseth(Bad Luck) when the first filthy green skins dared show themselves in our pristine caves. It started with small raids on our miners but as we know now, where there is one filthy green skin there’re always more.

After months of trying to fend of the nasty creatures with extra patrols in the mining areas our ancestors realised that more would be needed if they were to stop the onslaught and that’s how the Green Wars started.

After months of battles my brethren had finally found the one spot where the greenskins had nested; in Tronjheim mine, and old mine that was abandoned when the veins ran dry.
At the battle of Tronjheim King Jorum Steelmace lead the battle himself against Mogho The Fierce. It was the bloodiest battle in the Green Wars which ended with King Jorum being mortally wounded in a scrap with Mogho. But with his last strength Jorum cut Mogho’s achilles tendon making Mogho fall to the ground and with one last swipe of Jorum’s axe he loped of the foul creatures head.

But The Era of Asdos Merseth does not end with the Green Wars, no because after the greenskins were driven of one of our mines, a
mining expeditions not 1 year later came across a Drow city.
After the Green Wars there was a lot of loses, a lot of great dwarven lifes who had been lost; And thus starts the Shameful War.

The Shameful war is so named because the Dwarven people had to turn to the Humans and the Elves for help if they were to survive. The war was fought but the price was steep, the humans took our riches and the elves took our pride.
