Star Wars: X-wing is a space simulation computer game, the first in the X-Wing series of computer games that contains TIE Fighter and X-wing vs. TIE Fighter. In the game, the player takes control of a pilot named Keyan Farlander, now retconned as the pilot seen in the only Y-Wing ship that survives the Battle of Yavin at the end of A New Hope.
