The Last Starfighter

The Last Starfighter was a Star Wars gaming league created in 1996, primarily for the X-wing vs. TIE Fighter game set to be released in 1997. It was founded by Ghent. As time progressed, other games including Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Star Wars:Rebellion, and Star Wars:Galactic Battlegrounds were played by LSF members.

It enjoyed a long and active existence with hundreds of active members until its demise in approximately 2003 (most XvT groups dissolved in 2002-2003 once Microsoft gaming zone withdrew support for XvT and XWA). The Resistance, a guild founded by Ghent in 2003, is considered a spinoff guild to LSF.

Dervish was a member of LSF since inception. The vast majority of Saber Wing members are also alumni of LSF.
