Star Wars: TIE Fighter was a game published by Lucasarts in 1994. It is considered one of the best Star Wars games ever created. It has no multiplayer option, although X-wing vs. TIE Fighter offered such in 1997. Despite having no multiplayer option, a few groups such as Omega Squadron were created for the game. Methods of interaction included the exchange of pilot files, in-game films, and fan-written stories. Dervish and Doran played many games of TIE Fighter when it was released.
