Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games, or MMORPG for short, are games which typically involve purchasing a CD or CD key and paying a monthly fee for access, in exchange for server maintenance and developing new content. Examples include Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, and Vanguard:Saga of Heroes.
